UTM Builder with Geo Variants
Build a clean Google Analytics campaign URL in seconds — then auto-generate per-country variants so you can measure which regions actually convert.
GA is case-sensitive — recommended.
Pick the countries you'll share this link in. We'll suffixutm_contentwith each country code so GA reports them separately.
What is a UTM parameter?
UTM parameters are query-string tags Google Analytics (and almost every other analytics platform) uses to attribute a click to a specific campaign. Without them, a click from your email newsletter, a Reddit comment, and a paid ad can all look identical in your reports — usually lumped under "direct" or "referral" with no campaign context at all.
The five UTM parameters
utm_source— which site/platform sent the click (e.g.newsletter,twitter).utm_medium— what type of traffic it is (email,social,cpc).utm_campaign— which campaign or initiative it belongs to.utm_term— typically the paid-search keyword.utm_content— distinguishes variants or placements (header vs footer, A vs B).
Why geo variants matter
If you're running a campaign across multiple countries — a YouTube description seen by viewers in 40 regions, an affiliate post syndicated to UK and US audiences, a paid ad targeting EU shoppers — a single UTM string flattens all that geography into one row in your analytics. By suffixing utm_contentwith a country code, you can answer "which country actually converted?" without juggling a separate campaign per region.
Pair this with a Geo Smart Link and you get the best of both: one short URL to share everywhere, server-side routing to the right destination per visitor, and clean per-country attribution in GA.
