How to open links in the app (deep linking)

Make a Smart Link open Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Amazon or Discord in the native app instead of the browser — with a safe web fallback. Higher conversion, and it helps escape in-app browsers. It’s a single toggle.

Deep links open your destination inside the native app instead of a browser tab — a Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify or Amazon link that lands in the app, with a safe web fallback for anyone who does not have it installed. In-app opens keep people logged in and convert better.

    1. 1

Paste your app link into a new Smart Link

Create a new link with your normal app URL (for example a Telegram, Instagram, YouTube or Amazon link) as the Default URL.

    2. 2

      Turn on “Open in app”

Under Advanced options, expand Open in app and flip the toggle on.

      • 1 — The toggle: once on, supported links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, Amazon, Spotify, YouTube, TikTok) open directly in the app, with a web fallback for everyone else.

      Create your Smart Link

Click Create Smart Link. On mobile, your link now opens straight in the app — no extra setup for your audience.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which apps are supported?

Deep linking covers major apps including Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Amazon and Discord, each with a web fallback so no one hits a dead end.

What if the visitor doesn't have the app installed?

They fall back to the normal web version automatically, so the link always works — the app simply opens directly when it is available.

Why open in the app instead of a browser?

In-app opens keep people signed in, load faster and convert better. A Spotify or Amazon link that opens the app beats one that bounces through a mobile browser and asks the user to log in again.
