travel & accommodation affiliate program

The Booking.com affiliate program — how to join & earn

Booking.com is one of the biggest travel platforms in the world, and its affiliate program is a staple for travel bloggers, itinerary sites and anyone whose readers book places to stay. One thing catches people out: in June 2025 Booking.com shut down its direct affiliate program, so you now join through CJ Affiliate rather than signing up on Booking.com itself. You earn a cut of the commission Booking.com collects from the property, and it is paid only after the guest has actually completed their stay.

How to join the Booking.com affiliate program

    1. 1

Run a travel-focused site, blog or channel with a genuine audience for hotels, trips and destinations; Booking.com reviews applicants for relevance and activity.

    2. 2

Create a free publisher account on CJ Affiliate (cj.com) and choose your region during registration, since the program is organised by territory.

    3. 3

Apply to the Booking.com program inside CJ. Once approved, build search widgets, deep links or banners from the CJ dashboard and track results there.

Free to join. Since June 2025 the program runs through CJ Affiliate, not a direct Booking.com signup.
You earn a percentage of Booking.com's own commission, tiered by your monthly completed bookings (roughly 25% at entry level, up to about 40% at high volume).
Tracking is session-based rather than a 30- or 90-day cookie, so the booking usually has to be made in the same visit as the click.
Commission is confirmed after the guest checks out, so payouts arrive on a delay (commonly 30 to 60 days after the completed stay).
Cancellations and no-shows are not paid, which is standard across travel bookings.

Turn your Booking.com affiliate link into one smart link

CJ Affiliate links are long and ugly, and they only ever point one place. Wrap your tagged Booking.com link in a Geo-Smart-Link and you get a clean, short gsl.li URL you can change anytime — with a dynamic QR code, click analytics, and A/B testing behind it, on every plan.

    Short & editable

A tidy gsl.li link instead of a long tracking URL — and you can change where it points without re-sharing it.

    A dynamic QR

Put your Booking.com link on a video thumbnail, pin board or print — a scannable code that inherits the same routing and tracking.

    See the clicks

Clicks by country, device and source, bots filtered — so you know which content drives your Booking.com commissions.
